چکیده
Abstract Prior research documents how the use of national cultural differences when used as an argument for failed collaboration is problematic and makes information technology (IT) companies blind to challenges in global software development (GSD). Nevertheless, we still witness issues GSD work are kept explained, applied, predicted through generic descriptions behavior. Based on two ethnographic studies conducted within large Danish IT companies, extend prior implicit bias . The paper presents empirical examples widespread practice using racist stereotypical rhetoric GSD, which initially motivated us look alternative strategies analyzing actual locally situated collaboration‐related problems organizations involved GSD. Our contributions threefold: (1) We show negative weaved into fabric engagements; (2) present results attending approach explore combat pervasive practices that deploy static narratives stereotypes GSD; (3) propose three areas should investigate identify address biases potentially challenge or shatter their distributed collaborative work.

متن کاملStereotyping and evaluation in implicit race bias: evidence for independent constructs and unique effects on behavior.
Implicit stereotyping and prejudice often appear as a single process in behavior, yet functional neuroanatomy suggests that they arise from fundamentally distinct substrates associated with semantic versus affective memory systems. On the basis of this research, the authors propose that implicit stereotyping reflects cognitive processes and should predict instrumental behaviors such as judgment...

Like McClellan and King, we expect that with the development of highthroughput sequencing technologies, whole-genome sequencing will be an invaluable tool for the study of rare genetic variants contributing to complex diseases. However, the apparent importance of rare variants ...
